Muscles recovering after a workout?

What is the best things to do to help sore muscles or to prevent them from getting sore in the first place?
I jsut started the Shred workout a couple of days ago my legs are still sore. What can I do to make them less sore so I can workout again?
Also, what can I do the next time to try to prevent them from getting sore?
EX: tylenol, protein shakes, epsom salt baths, etc

Potassium helps in muscle recovery. A banana for example.
Your just getting in-shape, once you reach a healthy physical level, you won’t get so sore. Don’t give up!
